Normalizing heat treatment method for 16Mo3 steel plate

16Mo3 material is a molybdenum three steel plates, named according to the content of C (carbon) and Mo (molybdenum). The carbon content of this steel plate is about 160, and the content of molybdenum is about 300. 16Mo3 belongs to European standard steel plate, produced by Katalor Steel Plant.

EN10028-2 specified grade chromium molybdenum steel alloy 16Mo3 is used as a material at elevated working temperature, which is used to manufacture industrial boilers and can be used in stainless steel pressure vessels in the petroleum, natural gas and chemical industries. Welded steel.

16Mo3 is different from other raw materials during welding. It must be preheated first, and the welding seam should be kept for about 30 minutes after the welding is completed. 16Mo3 manganese steel plate is also an important alloying element steel, it is an important hardenability element, it has a great influence on the patience of the weld metal.

The size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of 16Mo3 should comply with the requirements of EN10029, and the allowable deviation of thickness should be in accordance with the class B deviation of EN10029.

16Mo3 steel plates are usually delivered in a normalized state. According to the negotiation between the supplier and the demander, the delivery/heat treatment may not be processed.
Production process: adopt electric furnace + external refining + vacuum degassing smelting, fine grain killed steel
