ASTM A131/ A131M Grade DH40 Shipbuilding Steel Plate
ASTM A131/ A131M Grade DH40 Shipbuilding Steel Plate
ASTM A131/A131M Grade AH40 are mainly used for building cranes project under high strength situation in many shipyards.
Technical Details:
Heat Treatment: Normalized, Quenched, Tempered, Impact Test.
For the heat treatment, shipbuilding steel plate A131 Grade DH40 have to be done under TMCP or Normalized for all the thickness, and shipbuilding steel plate A131 Grade AH40 have to be done under TMCP or Normalized for the thickness above 40 millimeter, and for below 40 millimeters, marine steel plates done under AR is Ok if the end user accept when purchase.
