AH36 grade steel features and application

AH36 grade steel is a high-strength, low-alloy structural steel with excellent corrosion resistance, toughness, and weldability. It is know as high strength hull structural steel with a minimum yield strength of 51 ksi (or 355 MPa) and a tensile strength of 71-90 ksi (or 490-620 MPa). Its high yield and tensile strength make it suitable for use in shipbuilding and offshore structures, while its corrosion resistance, toughness, and fatigue resistance make it ideal for use in harsh marine environments.
