Chemical composition of 45# steel high-quality carbon structural steel:
Carbon C: 0.42-0.50, silicon Si: ≤0.40, manganese Mn: 0.50-0.80, sulfur S: ≤0.045, phosphorus P: ≤0.045, chromium Cr: ≤0.40, nickel Ni: ≤0.40, molybdenum Mo: ≤0.10.

Mechanical properties of 45# steel:
Tensile strength σb (MPa): ≥ 600 (61), yield strength σs (MPa): ≥ 355 (36), elongation δ5 (%): ≥ 16, reduction of area ψ (%): ≥ 40, impact energy Akv (J): ≥ 39, impact toughness value αKv (J/cm2): ≥ 49 (5), hardness: no heat treatment, ≤229HB; Annealed steel, ≤197HB.
Sample size: 25 mm.
