20CrMo alloy structural steel chemical composition and mechanical description

20CrMo steel plate is an alloy structural steel plate, which is used to make all kinds of alloy structural steel and its components, such as the header of the superheater of the power station boiler, and the large-diameter tube plate structural parts.

Chemical composition of 20CrMo alloy steel:
Carbon C: 0.17-0.24
Silicon Si: 0.17-0.37
Manganese Mn: 0.40-0.70
Sulfur S: allowable residual content ≤ 0.035
Phosphorus P: Allowable residual content≤0.035
Chromium Cr: 0.80-1.10
Molybdenum Mo: 0.15-0.25
Nickel Ni: allowable residual content ≤ 0.3
Copper Cu: allowable residual content ≤ 0.3

Mechanical properties of 20CrMo alloy structural steel:
Tensile strength σb (MPa): ≥885(90)
Yield strength σs (MPa): ≥685(70)
Elongation δ5 (%): ≥12
Area shrinkage ψ (%): ≥50
Impact energy Akv (J): ≥78
Impact toughness value αkv (J/cm2): ≥98(10)
Hardness: ≤197HB
Sample size: sample blank size is 15mm

20CrMo alloy structural steel delivery status and processing specifications:
Heat treatment specification: quenching at 880℃, water cooling, oil cooling; tempering at 500℃, water cooling, oil cooling.
Delivery status: Delivered with heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or without heat treatment, and the delivery status should be specified in the contract.
