Performance characteristics of 10CrMoAl steel plate

10CrMoAl is a special steel that is resistant to seawater corrosion. It is widely used in coastal power plants, coastal oil fields, coastal natural gas and petrochemical plants to transport water, oil and gas and seawater-containing medium pipelines, and is also used to make valve flanges.

The characteristics of 10CrMoAl steel plate, that is, the reason for its resistance to seawater corrosion: Al (aluminum) in the 10CrMoAl material can chemically react with O (oxygen) in the air to form Al2O3 (aluminum oxide), thereby forming a protective film, which is both anti-corrosion and corrosion-resistant.

Cr (chromium), Mo (molybdenum) and ions in 10CrMoAl steel can actively supplement the gaps formed by Cl (chloride) ions in seawater to form pitting corrosion of steel, forming a fine protective layer and preventing pitting corrosion from developing in depth. In turn, it is resistant to corrosion and prolongs the service life of the steel plate.

Welding performance of 10CrMoAl steel plate:
10CrMoAl material has good welding performance, and is equipped with a special corrosion-resistant electrode "Sea O3", without special welding requirements.

C: ≤0.12, Mn: 0.35-0.65, Ni: ≤0.03, Si: 0.2-0.5, P:≤0.025, S:≤0.025, Cr: 0.8-1.2, Cu: ≤0.03, Mo: 0.2-0.35, Al: 0.4-0.8
