SN490B, SN490C high construction steel welding performance and technical conditions

SN490B and SN490C are steel plates for construction. It is a special steel for earthquake-resistant buildings. Corresponds to the Q490C steel plate in Chinese steel plate standard. SN490B and SN490C steel plates are used to make steel for high-rise and important building structures. It is required to have high impact resistance, satisfactory strength, excellent welding performance, a certain yield ratio, and if necessary, thickness direction performance.

Welding performance requirements of SN490B and SN490C high construction steel:
(1) It should have a low yield ratio and sufficient tensile strength, and have good seismic performance.
(2) It is required that the steel plate must have a certain level of anti-lamellar tearing ability to increase safety performance.
(3) It should have high plasticity and toughness, so that the steel plate has good mechanical properties.
(4) It has better welding performance than ordinary steel, thereby reducing labor intensity and improving labor efficiency.
(5) In the range of beam and column joints connected by welding, when the joints are strongly restrained and bear the tensile force along the plate thickness direction, the steel plate must have a certain level of anti-lamellar tearing ability.
