Chemical composition and tensile yield strength of S355J2 low alloy steel

Introduction of S355J2 low alloy steel: S355J2 is a grade of European standard equivalent to Q345D of national standard. It is a low-alloy high-strength structural steel. Because of its good impact toughness and welding performance, S355J2 steel plate is widely used in various industries.

S355J2 low alloy steel executive standard: EN10025-2 (European standard)

Delivery status of S355J2 low alloy steel: This grade is mostly delivered in hot rolled status. PS: The specific delivery status should be indicated in the contract.

S355J2 steel chemical composition:
Carbon C: ≤0.24, Manganese Mn: ≤1.60, Phosphorus P: ≤0.025, Silicon Si: ≤0.55, Copper Cu: ≤0.55, Sulfur S: ≤0.025

>3-≤16MM (thickness): 470-630
>16-≤40MM (thickness): 470-630

2) Yield point (σs/MPa):
>3-≤16MM (thickness): ≧355
>16-≤40MM (thickness): ≧345
>40-≤63MM (thickness): ≧335
>63-≤80MM (thickness): ≧325

3) Impact energy Akv (J): -20℃≥27
