A588 Grade B is the "B" grade steel in the ASTM A588 standard. Its main components include carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), copper (Cu), and chromium. Specifically, the chemical composition of A588GrB steel plate has a certain control range, such as C content ≤ 0.20, Si content 0.15 ~ 0.50, Mn content 0.75 ~ 1.35, P content ≤ 0.030, S content ≤ 0.030, Ni content ≤ 0.50, Cr content 0.40~0.71, Cu content 0.20~0.40, and may also contain trace amounts of V element (0.01~0.10).

A588 Grade B steel plate is widely used in various fields due to its high strength, low alloy content and excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance. Specifically, its uses mainly include the following aspects:
