SA 516 Gr 70 anti-hydrogen sulfide corrosion steel

SA 516 Gr 70 (HIC) steel is an anti-hydrogen sulfide corrosion steel plate It is widely used in the domestic petrochemical manufacturing industry. SA 516 Gr 70 anti-hydrogen sulfide corrosion steel plate is tested for its resistance to hydrogen induced cracking (HIC). The test method for hydrogen induced cracking (HIC) is in accordance with the American Society of Corrosion Engineers NACE TM0284 standard or the pipeline steel and pressure vessel steel anti-hydrogen induced cracking evaluation method GB8650 standard.

The quality of SA 516 Gr 70 anti-hydrogen sulfide corrosion steel plate has the following characteristics:
a. The steel plate has low P and S content, high purity, and good resistance to wet hydrogen sulfide corrosion;
b. Good low-temperature toughness, steel plates above 100mm can guarantee the transverse -30℃ impact at 1/2 of the plate thickness;
c. BBN steel is the manufacturer that can produce the thickest HIC-resistant steel plate in China. The thickest specification it has produced is 176mm, and it can guarantee the Z35 performance in the thickness direction;
d. The hardness of the steel plate surface is controllable, the product has good workability and is easy to roll.

Delivery status of SA 516 Gr 70 (HIC) steel plate
Delivery status: normalizing. According to the needs, additional inspection standards, inspection grade requirements, Z-direction performance requirements, classification society certification requirements, and special alloy element requirements can be added. However, it needs to be communicated between the supplier and the buyer and indicated in the contract.

SA 516 Gr 70 anti-hydrogen sulfide corrosion steel plate application range:
SA 516 Gr 70 anti-hydrogen sulfide corrosion steel is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, power station, boiler and other industries to make reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure shells, boiler drums, Equipment and components such as liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes of hydropower stations, and turbine volutes.
