ASTM A516 Grade 65 is an excellent weldable carbon steel for pressure vessels and boiler fabrication. A516 Grade 65 steel offers excellent performance in lower ambient temperature service. A516 Grade 65 steel has good weldability and excellent notch toughness. A516 Grade 65 has greater specified tensile and yield strength when compared with ASTM A516 Grade 60 Used throughout the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
