Brief introduction of SA737 Gr C steel plate

SA737 Gr C steel plate is a low-alloy high-strength plate for pressure vessels. SA737 steel plate has two grades, namely SA737 Gr C and SA737 Gr B. The minimum yield strength of SA737 grade C plate is 415Mpa, and the minimum yield strength of SA737 grade B steel is 345Mpa.

SA737 Gr C steel plate executive standard:
Executive standard: SA737/SA-737M, belonging to ASME internal standard, equivalent to ASTM A737/A737M.

SA737 Gr C steel plate chemical composition, chemical elements (melting analysis %):

1. Under the condition that the carbon content in smelting analysis does not exceed 0.18%, the maximum manganese content can be increased to 1.60% in smelting analysis and 1.72% in finished product analysis.

2. It can contain no more than 0.05% Nb.

Delivery condition and heat treatment of SA737 Gr C steel sheet:
SA737 Gr C steel delivery condition: normalized + tempered. SA737 Gr C steel plate is prone to cracks when it is subjected to flame cutting, handling and processing in the rolled state.
